Read moreSix Harvest Festival Queen candidates took to the stage Thursday night, Oct. 8, to shine before a crowd of people. Throughout the past several months the candidates have gone to social gatherings, events, sold tickets, baked, crafted, practiced their talents, and pageant ceremony activities. The Thursday night pageant kicks off the annual Terry County Harvest Festival. The guest host of the event was Mud Flap, a popular radio personality for KLLL out of Lubbock. There were several dance routines from other guest performers and the candidates performed their talent that ranged from dancing, singing, and a monologue. Also on pageant night, the candidates choose one of their own to become Miss Congeniality and it is announced that evening. This year’s 2020 Terry County Harvest Festival Pageant Miss Congeniality award went to Madyson Horton who represents the Miss Brownfield Organization.
