This Brownfield City Council meeting is set for Thursday, September 3 at 7:30 a.m in the City Hall Council Chambers. The meeting will be live streamed via Facebook on the City of Brownfield page. The public will be permitted to offer public comments as provided by the agenda and as permitted by the presiding officer during the meeting by the following means: 1. Call-in telephonically; 2. By providing written comments on the Facebook live stream during or before the Public Comment period of the meeting. (Must state name, address, and reference “Public Comment”); 3. By emailing a comment to the city secretary a minimum of one hour prior to the meeting at kellyburris@ci.brownfield. tx.us (Must place “Public Comment” in subject line and include name and address in message.)

This is the third consecutive month that the unemployment rate has decreased, and the lowest rate since March 2020 when the Texas economy was initially impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic and the oil and gas industry downfall.
