Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, August 5, 2022, at Brownfield Funeral Home. Lily was born January 10, 1963, in Lubbock to Wade and Virginia Wallace. She obtained her Associate’s Degree and worked passionately as a Lieutenant for TDCJ for 20 years. Lily enjoyed game rooms and casinos, but her grandbabies were the love of her life. Lily was preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Virginia Wallace; a brother, Don Wallace; a sister, Joyce-Bell Doherty; and a niece, Elizabeth Ennen. She is survived by her husband, John Huckabee; a son, William Moss; a daughter, Rene’ Harrell; 5 grandchildren, Austin, Lilly, Izyabella, Paisleigh, and Pierce; 3 sisters, Mary Lou Hayes, Virginia Ennen, and Mary Gomez; as well as several nieces and nephews.

His family moved to Terry County where he resided until his passing. Alix attended Union ISD until graduating in 1976, where he was a part of the only basketball team that went to state in the school’s history. Alix was a charismatic and loving individual with a passion for art in many forms. He had an avid appreciation for motorcycles, lowriding, and above all he loved his family deeply. Alix is survived by his 3 sons Jacob and wife Angelica, Jonas and wife Jenna, and Juilian. Grandchilden, Brandon, Victoria, Acacia and Luca; brother Ed; nephew Rod and son Teddy and niece Alix. A celebration of life service will be held under the direction of Les Wilks at Calvary Baptist Church on Monday July 25 at 10 a.m. 402 West Broadway in Brownfield, Texas.
