The Lady ‘Cats played hard and hustled, Borden County was a highly talented team that can shoot the lights out in the gym, and they did just that. Cameron Resendez led the team in scoring tonight with 11 points.
Read moreThe Meadow Lady Broncos fell 51-23 to the Klondike Lady Cougars on the road Monday night, in the bi-district round of playoffs, to end their season. The Lady Broncos had a slow start in the first quarter with the Lady Cougars outscoring Meadow 12-3. A strong second quarter surge netted the Lady Broncos nine points for their highest scoring quarter of the game. In the second half the Lady Cougars continued to extend their lead, with the Lady Broncos scoring 11 total points in the second half. Leading the Lady Broncos in scoring was J’Leigh Tarin with five points, followed by Ciara Villalpando and K’Lynn Tarin with four points each. The Lady Broncos ended the district season at 7-4.
