The Meadow Broncos will hit the road this week, after a tough one-point loss to Newcastle at home last week. The Broncos, now 0-1 for the season, will head to Spur to take on the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs, sitting at 1-0, will be coming off a win against Petersburg. Last week the Broncos lost a hardfought battle but it might have been just what they needed according to Head Coach Josh Conner.

Texas Highway Patrol will be increasing enforcement from September 3 through September 6, looking for drivers and passengers not wearing their seatbelts, speeding, driving intoxicated, and those who fail to follow the state’s Move Over, Slow Down law, and other traffic violations.

The program, taught by Kim Bayer, was chosen by local farmer, Chris Fails, to be the recipient of America's Farmers Grow Communities' $2,500 donation, sponsored by Bayer Fund. Video Production and Commercial Photography students George Bustillos, Jasmine Haile, Madison Casanova, and Ramon Rodriguez each received a laptop to produce projects that will inform and provide an impact on the community and school population.
