Read moreThe Brownfield City Council met Thursday morning for their regularly scheduled meeting to discuss several items on the agenda. The longest discussion revolved around the addition of a police department to Brownfield ISD. Council members Kelli Mendez, J.C Tijerina, Leon Pope, Marshall Martell, Mark Williams and Jimmy Garza were all present on the quorum along with Mayor Tom Hesse, City Manager Jeff Davis, City Secretary Kelly Burris and City Attorney Matt Wade. Celso Duran was absent from the meeting.
