The improvements to Coleman Park are ongoing, thanks to volunteers like Don Kennedy. Kennedy volunteered to do some of the toughest work on the park bridges. Don Kennedy volunteered to help with the work and Parks and Rec Director Scott Jackson is thankful, “Don was the one who brought the situation up and said it was a problem. He found some sponsors to gather up the material and he had the expertise to do the job so he is just helping us out because we have been swamped all summer.”
