The Brownfield Chamber of Commerce is inviting every- one to attend the 10th Annual Grape Capital of Texas Vine- yard and Wine Festival. The Food and Wine Event gets underway at 7 p.m. on Friday, July 29 at the Farmhouse Vineyards - The Armory 101 W. Webb Street in Brownfield. Mix and mingle while enjoying some of the best the area has to offer. You can also dance to the music of Jake Pyeatt. Tickets to this event are $45.

He told the Brownfield News, “It feels great to bring this event here to Brownfield every year. Our main objective here is to serve the community. That’s what ACES is about, community service. We just try to do things that the community will enjoy or that would be very beneficial like health. All we want to do here at ACES is to make Brownfield a better place to live. We try to give about a dozen scholarships every year and we also have a lot of educational activities for all ages to come out and enjoy.”

They will wed on December 17 at the First Baptist Church Chapel in Brownfield. Darbie is a 2018 graduate of Brownfield High School and a 2021 graduate of Tarleton State University. She is employed as a Veterinary Technician at the Terry County Vet Clinic. Zack is a 2018 graduate of Mitchell County High School in Bakersville, NC and is currently a Specialist in the United States Army. They will make their home in Killeen, TX.
