Western Peanut Growers Association (WPGA) will be holding the 39th annual meeting on Monday, February 7, 2022, beginning at 12:00 noon at the Seminole Community Center (801 N. Main Street), in Seminole, Texas. The meeting will begin with a catered lunch starting at 11:45 a.m. The Business Meeting is expected to start shortly after noon. There will be an election of association directors for four expiring terms. Guest Speaker Dr. Joe Outlaw will be presenting an Economic Outlook for Peanuts and Agriculture, as well as providing an interesting glimpse at the 2022 Crop FSA Program Choices. We think this meetings will be beneficial for all area farmers.

Chairman Steve Carter led the board of directors into executive session to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of the executive director with City Attorney Matt Wade. Following a 24 minutes discussion the board returned to a public session to announce their decision.
