Read moreThe Terry County Youth Sports held its opening ceremony for the inaugural season of youth baseball and softball at Brownfield Sports Complex on Saturday, April 10. The opening ceremony had all the teams from every division come out to the public and take a photo with TCYS President Carrie Wilks, Mayor Tom Hesse, and city secretary Kelly Burris. Wilks gave a speech thanking the kids, the parents, and the sponsors for helping in launching Terry County Youth Sports, and gave a special thanks to the city for allowing them to play at the Sports Complex for free.
