Terry County Commissioners met in regular session Monday and went over the county audit. The audit was performed by Bolinger, Segars, Gilbert and Moss. Tyler Kennedy with the firm presented a report on the audit to commissioners. Kennedy commended County Auditor Sabrina Brady on keeping the county finances clean and correct. Kennedy also stated that the firm found no deficiencies in control of the finances nor any on governmental activities dealing with finance. Terry County works on about a three to six month fund balance which is generally in step with governmental protocol. Kennedy stated that the county balance is healthy at 9.6 million dollars with most oof that allotted to road and bridge work along with vendor pay and county salaries as of December 31, 2024. Kennedy also confirmed that all county employee health plans are fully funded. Commissioners approved and accepted the audit.
