Read moreMonday night about five miles south of Brownfield on US 62/385 multiple vehicles were in the southbound ditch after a microburst wind and hailstorm that left about half a mile of roadway covered in marble sized hail stones. First responders county wide were on the scene immediately directing traffic and checking motorists. On the north side roadway, a vehicle lost control and struck the wire median due to the storm. Several vehicles were damaged and stuck in the ditch. No major injuries have been reported to the News.
