Felix S. Martinez

Felix S. Martinez, 64, of Brownfield went to be with the Lord on October 24, 2022. He was born in Gonzales County, TX on February 8, 1958 to Clemente Martinez and Mary Martinez. He was a loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemente and Mary. He is survived by his children Eric Martinez (Kasee), Eddika Garcia (Robert), and Crystal Martinez (Devin), all of Brownfield and Michael Arizpe; his siblings, David Martinez (Betty) of Brownfield, Clarissa Rodriguez (Joe) of Wolfforth, Liz Moroles (Joe) of Midland, Jeffrey Perez (Yvette) of Big Spring. His legacy will be carried on by his family, but especially by his nine grandkids, Adrian (Topo), Caleb (Haus), Kamryn (Little Nanny), Samuel (Little Felix), Zavier (Apache), Zarius (Pretty Boy), Zerach (Chato), Emalee (Smiley) and Michael (MJ).

Funeral services for Randy Gongora, 48 of Austin, were held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2022 at St. Margaret Catholic Church in Giddings with Father Miguel Duarte officiating.

Gainerd Gray McNeely

Gainerd Gray McNeely left this world on October 14, 2022 in Kerrville, TX. Gainerd was born to Arlie and Goldie McNeely in New Home, TX on June 25, 1937. He attended Tahoka schools and graduated in 1955. After serving in Korea, he returned to the Tahoka area taking a job with GTE. He retired from GTE in 1996 and resided in Brownfield until 2016 when he married LaRhea (Greathouse) Smith. They lived in Texas until they moved to Gilbert, AZ in 2022. He enjoyed woodworking as well as playing the harmonica and played in a small band in Brownfield.
