Gas is dropping steadly

The trend of falling gasoline prices continues this week and has Brownfield residents thrilled. Gas is currently 3.42$ right now in Brownfield and dropping . The U.S. national average price of gas today has fallen under the $4 mark to $3.99 per gallon for the first time since early March, according to GasBuddy, the leading fuel review site in the country. Gas prices have fallen over $1 per gallon since peaking at $5.03 on June 14, fueled by falling oil prices over the last month. Janette Darden, a Brownfield resident, is pleased and relieved with the latest gas news and told The Brownfield News,”Oh thank the Lord where do I start. First things first, I get to see my Grandchildren more often now. I couldn’t see much of them because I’m on a fixed income so when gas was high and inflation it was just hard to do the things I wanted to do. I just didn’t have the money to go get me a new shirt or go out to bingo with my friends. Thankfully the gas is coming down and I have a little more freedom. I’m not having to worry about whether I am gonna have enough money for groceries or gas. Now I can afford both and I know a lot of people in Brownfield feel the same way. I mean Brownfield isn’t exactly the most profitable place to be. A lot of families are on a fixed income like me so I’m sure they have some weight off their shoulders. I know I have’.
