The owner of the Lonestar Cajun Seafood & Steak, Lily Pheng, says the restaurant is fully staffed and can’t wait to serve the community of Brownfield. Pheng also said, “ We feel that Brownfield needs another good restaurant. We feel that we are confident to provide all the good food to the community here.” Lonestar Cajun Seafood and Steak is set to open on Friday, July 1.

Randa Graves Powell passed from this life June 22, 2022. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 24, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Eldorado Cemetery Chapel. Interment will follow in Eldorado Cemetery. She was born December 12, 1963 in Brownfield, TX to Billy Bob Graves & Peggy Howell. She graduated from Brownfield High School. Randa moved to Eldorado to be with her brother and father in 1984 and she quickly made many friends.
