Brownfield tennis falls in double header

The Brownfield tennis team played a double header against Pampa and Midland Christian and lost both games. It was the third double header of the season and the first the Lady Cubs and Cubs players came out without a win. Brownfield played Midland Christian first and lost 13-6 and followed that with a time restricted match against Pampa that they lost 10-3.

Lady Cubs volleyball finish fifth in Fillies tournament

The Brownfield volleyball team participated in the Denver City tournament and finished in fifth place overall in the two day tournament. Brownfield finished the tournament 6-1 overall and head coach Mallorie Ellis was proud of her team’s performance.

Brownfield football looks to bounce back on the road

The Brownfield football team did not have the season home opener it wanted, falling to Friona 42-14 Friday night. These young Cubs are now looking toward their second game of the season and first road test when they travel an hour and a half to face the Tulia Hornets at 7 p.m. on Friday. Tulia is coming off a 32-0 win over Floydada. Brownfield Head Coach Aarrhon Flores talked about what he wants to see from his players after a long one-hour and half road trip.
