The Brownfield baseball team hosted district rival Lamesa in summer league action on Tuesday, June 15. The Cubs and the Golden Tornadoes played for an hour and forty five minutes or seven innings, which ever came first. The Cubs came back to win 4-3 on a walk off single in the fifth inning.

The fans who attended the game enjoyed an entertaining boys’ and girls’ game. The data shows an increase in 34,400 nonagricultural jobs and continues the trend of seeing an increase. There were also 804,200 total jobs added since May 2020.
