On July 21, 1947, Elvira was born in Waco, TX. She married Martin Herrera on November 16, 1964. She loved reading books, baking, cooking, sharing her recipes with all her sisters, making holidays and birthdays extra special, loving her family, and loving her grandkids even more. She was the backbone and glue to our whole entire family. Elvia was our sunshine and light of our life. She was the love of our lives especially to our father. She lights up the room with her presence and let her energy be known. She was an extra special, loving, and caring lady. She made everyone feel loved and welcomed always. God definitely spent a little more time on her because she was a real-life angel. Survivors include her husband, Martin Herrera; children, Anita Jimenez, Roberto (Teresa) Herrera, Nora (Martin) Rodriguez, Misty Morin, Sixto Herrera; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; six brothers; and six sisters. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Benita Beltran; son, Daniel Herrera; daughter, Dolores Herrera; two brothers; three sisters; and a son-in-law, Larry Jiminez.
