Three dicamba registrations vacated, then re-registered

On June 4, 2020, A U.S. appeals court issued a ruling vacating the EPA’s registration of three dicamba herbicides. The order applied to Bayer’s XtendiMax, BASF’s Engenia, and Corteva’s FeXapan. The U.S.Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, headquartered in San Francisco, said the EPA “substantially understated risks that it acknowledged and failed to acknowledge other risks” dicamba poses.

HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL 2020

The Brownfield boys’ and girls’ basketball teams were scheduled to play Greenwood High on Thursday, Dec. 31 in its final game of the year. On Wednesday, Dec. 30, the Brownfield ISD released on their Facebook page that the games were canceled due to “expected snow accumulations and freezing temperatures”.
