Click Remains Terry County Sheriff

After months of campaigning for Terry County Sheriff, Timothy Click came out to secure his position as Sheriff. Click won with 74% of the votes which was 1384 votes out of 1877. Since Sheriff Elect Click will not have opposition in the General Election in November, he will be sworn in as Sheriff the first week of January 2021. Click is pictured with his wife and daughter.

Prowell hired as WUCISD Superintendent

In a scheduled Wellman-Union CISD school board meeting on Monday night, March 2nd, the board voted unanimously to name Wellman-Union’s current secondary principal Ben Prowell as Superintendent of WUCISD. According to state law, when a lone finalist is announced, the school district must wait 21 day before the actual hire.
