She was ushered into the presence of Jesus, surrounded by family on December 25, 2023, at her home in Midland, TX. As an only child, Charlotte was the light of her parents’ lives and captivated their attention through her ballet, tap, and jazz recitals. Her love for music and dancing continued throughout her high school years, where she played clarinet and was a majorette in the Brownfield High School Band. In 1968, Charlotte married and moved to California. As a naval military wife, she lived in various towns before making her home in Midland, TX in 1973. She delighted in her role as a mother and immersed herself in the happiness of her children, always striving to provide the best life possible for each of them and selflessly sacrificing for their betterment. She was a devoted homemaker for many years before starting her career in oil and gas where she had a thirty-year tenure with the Apache Corporation working as a Regulatory Production Clerk, making many lifelong cherished friendships. Charlotte loved her family first and foremost. Affectionately called Nanna, she often referred to her grandchildren and great-granddaughters as her greatest reward and sought any and every opportunity to be in their presence. Whether watching a tee-ball or baseball game of her grandsons, a dance recital of her great-granddaughters, or instigating a trip to Six Flags to ride the biggest roller coaster, she was always thrilled to be in the presence of her family. They knew she could be counted on for support, encouragement, and unconditional love.
