Brownfield Industrial Development Corporation heard presentations from three local businesses during its regular meeting on Monday. JAE’s Froyo, Crackin’ Crab and EJM Construction each spoke to the board to request assistance in order to meet growth goals. After meeting in closed session, BIDCorp Executive Director Gina Kelly made a motion to have JAE’s Froyo apply for a grant, which the board passed. The board approved up to $33,250 to be paid to the vendor once the work is completed for the Crakin’ Crab’s parking lot. A motion was also made and approved to pay the vendor up to $65,000 for the concrete work for a building expansion for EJM Construction. The board gave its approval for Kelly to sell property to interested investors.
