The Brownfield Lady Cubs powerlifting team competed at the Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association Region 1, Division 3 at Shamrock High School. The Lady Cubs had 10 lifters compete and all of them finished in the top 7 in their weight classes, with eight medaling. Brownfield had three lifters earn individual results. Head Coach Jacob Perez spoke on the excitement of having five lifters compete at State on Thursday, March 17 at Corpus Christi.
