Wellman-Union ISD had a regular scheduled school board meeting on Monday, April 13. The main focus was to hire the new secondary principal and introduce him and his wife to the board. WUISD Superintendent Ben Prowell became the new superintendent back in early March when he was the current secondary principal. This transition opened up the door for the secondary principal position. The board not only hired a secondary principal, there were three other positions filled as well.
