Diane G. Mitchell, 87, passed away peacefully with family by her side on March 10, 2025 at the Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas. She was born June 1, 1937 in Vernon; the daughter of Howard Cermit and Ola Kate (Rains) Green. Diane graduated from Levelland High School, class of 1955 and began her career in the banking industry with the First National Bank of Levelland. She married James Edwin Mitchell on April 18, 1957. The family relocated to _______________________________________________ ure with the First National Bank retiring in 1998 after 31 years in the industry. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church, National Association of Banking Women, and The Red Skirts.

Read moreOur beloved and wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend, Suzanne Snodgrass, of Johnson City, passed into God’s hands on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at the age of 83. She was born in Houston in 1941. Suzanne met and married her husband of 49 years, John Snodgrass, while attending Texas Tech University. They married on April 1, 1961, in Houston. She is survived by her two sons, Jeff Snodgrass and Dan Snodgrass, and Dan’s wife, Aylin, all of Johnson City, and seven grandchildren, Hadley, Hannah, Megan, Micha, Kapri, Jonathan and Brooke. She is also survived by her brother, Pete. Suzanne was preceded in death by her husband, John, her son, John Snodgrass Jr., her mother, Marjorie Burdick, her brother Bob Burdick, and sister, Ann McConnell. Suzanne was a devout Christian and served as the treasurer at the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Brownfield for many years. Most of all, Suzanne loved spending time with her family, her cats, and listening to country music. The family would like to thank Reverend Bryn Caddell and their entire church family at St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Blanco. A graveside service was held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 18, 2025 in Crosbyton Cemetery in Crosbyton under the direction of Adams Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Blanco.
