The Brownfield golf team competed today at the Reese Golf Center tournament along with several other teams from the district. The Cubs placed 6th overall in tournament play. Individually KJ Carroll led the team with a final score OF 203.

Read moreSEMINOLE - The Wellman boys and girls golf teams competed in the District 7-1A district golf meet at the Gaines County Golf Course. The district meet was held on Wednesday, March 30th under adverse weather conditions of strong winds and cold temperature. Despite the playing conditions the Lady ‘Cats team of Abbi Dyer, Kenzie Harp, Haylee Boshears, Tina Friesen, and Kamryn Murph came in second place to qualify for the regional meet as a team. Wildcat golfer Blake McClure is going to be the Wildcats only player at the regional meet. As a team the Wildcats came in third place missing the regionals by a spot. Head Coach Kody Bell spoke on his team’s performance.
Read moreSEMINOLE – The Meadow boys and girls golf teams competed and took first place overall at the District 7-1A golf meet at Gaines County Golf Course on Wednesday, March 30th. Meadow battled through strong winds and the cold to win the district titles. The district champions were not done with just winning the overall district titles, they also swept the top three spots in boys with Braden Smith in first place overall, Taylor Caswell in second, and Dylon Fabila in third. Tate McBee took first place individual medalist. The Lady Broncos took two of the top three overall spots with Nyomi Alvarado in first place and Andrea Fraire in third place. Head Coach Jonathon Alaniz spoke on his team’s performance.
