The deadline to nominate this year’s award-winners is Feb. 3, and sponsorships also are being accepted for the 76th Annual Chamber Banquet that will be held next month.

Read moreShortly after 3:00 pm on Monday First Responders were called to the scene of what was labeled a multiple vehicle accident on the 500 block of Lubbock Rd. The initial wreck occurred when a 2013 white Mazda collided with a 2020 Ford. The collision then caused a 2016 GMC, who attempted to avoid the accident, to veer into the next lane and strike a 2015 Dodge Ram. The four vehicles suffered moderate damage and were quickly removed from the Highway as traffic began to build up during the busy after school hours. There were no reported injuries from the two separate collisions.
