Lady Cubs Volleyball: Missing Pieces

The Lady Cubs were in action over the weekend and took a tough loss to Pecos on Saturday, September 3. The Lady Cubs lost in the 3 sets, the first set being tightly contested with a score of 22-25. The second set was the opposite with the margin being much larger with a score of 9-25. The Third set was similar to the second set with a similar margin 13-25. A key factor in the loss to Pecos is the absence of Libero Jackie Castillo, Castillo was out for the match against Pecos with an injury. Castillo is a huge part of the Lady Cubs offense and defense, being 1 of only 2 returning seniors on the team. Castillos absence plays a huge role in the function of the Lady Cubs.
