Morning Accident at busy intersection

A two vehicle accident involving a 2020 Ford Edge and a 2006 Cadillac Escalade occurred early Monday morning at the corner of Tahoka Rd. and Cedar. The crash detoured traffic for almost an hour as first responders attended to the scene. According to police there were possible minor injuries, with reports indicating nothing life threatening.

Election Error

This weekend’s election results were determined, but then in a shocking turn of events an error was made and the results were temporarily revoked. The elections office realized that 59 votes from the Meadow Early Voting Polling Place were not counted and added to the election night totals. In a county this size 59 votes can easily determine an election.
