Thirty Million Out Of Work

Jobless claims came in at 3.8 million on Thursday, April 30, bringing the total, for the past seven weeks, to 30 million. Experts estimated there would be 3.5 million new claims, however there were over 300K more new claims bringing it to 3.8 million. This week's claims were 603,000 less than last week’s, and is the lowest since the week ending March 21.
