Read moreThe Meadow Broncos basketball team needed to win Friday night on the road over Loop and get help from Terry County rival Wellman-Union to make the Class 1A playoffs. The game, scheduled to be played at 6 p.m., was moved to 5 p.m. due to snow, did not hurt Meadow. The Broncos went on to defeat Loop 64-33 and with Wellman-Union defeating Whiteface, the Broncos sealed third place in District 7-1A to make the playoffs.
