Wesley was born on May 3, 1944 to Hazel Gertrude Webb and George Webb in Brownfield. He graduated from Brownfield High School and afterward he joined the United States Army and was stationed overseas in Germany from 1961 to 1964. When he came back, he settled down, and worked at Brownfield Power & Light for many years. He visited the area lakes to catch the biggest fish you would have ever seen. He also had a joy for Bingo. He would get to the Bingo Hall hours early just to make sure nobody else got his parking place or sat at his table spot. He loved going to Montelongo’s Mexican Food Restaurant when he went to Lubbock to play Bingo. He had a passion for tinkering, whether it be with lawn mowers or cars. He would always fix anything himself. He loved to go to garage sales and steal great finds and he made sure to show you all his treasures. He is preceded in death by his mother, father, brother, and sister. He leaves behind his beloved dog, Booger; three nieces, Patty Downey, Tammy Ratliff, and Cindi Jones; a nephew, Michael Webb; as well as many great nieces, nephews, and cousins who all loved him very much.
